First time trying curry featuring chopped up hardboiled eggs.
Never knew there was such a thing until I saw another foodie go there. On this my first visit I went with some of her top picks:
* boil tikka fry - boil egg small cut, cooked with cheese & onion masala
* masala pav - 2 buns stuffed with onion masala and roasted in butter
Not sure of exact pricing as there was none displayed, but I paid $20 all up. The masala pav was too spicy for wifey so I ate most of it. There was a good bit of kick and a mounthful of that with a dollop of the egg curry is a good combination. Substitute
for the non-spicy bun that comes with the curry if you can't take heat.
The egg curry was something I've never tried before and this meal was a good option for stepping out of my normal comfort zone of food choices. Whilst I didn't mind the food, I won't be bringing wifey back anytime soon, though would be open to a return visit with different company.
NB. Parth is a food truck that operates on Friday and Saturday nights out of the carpark of the flower shops on the corner of Granard & Beatty Rds. The address is on Granard Rd but carpark entry is off Beatty. They're not on IG but do have a FB page as mentioned
earlier so check there for status updates before you go.
